The Legend of Warblade- Ch. 1~1~ A Foreboding Tale It was spring in the Heartlands of Aeternus. The sun shone brightly upon a grassy field, its new green grass dotted with wildflowers, and everywhere, there was the sound of birdsong. The ancient oak and maple trees that stood on the edge of this field budded with new leaves, their canopies -laid barren by the winter’s chill- fresh and green once again. Nestled within the protection of these leaves, the dove cooed, the woodpecker drummed, and the starling chattered incessantly away.
